Part/Full Time: Full Time - All roles are available for flexible working including job sharing and part-time unless there are legitimate operational / business reasons why this cannot be accommodated.
Can you communicate to hundreds of officers and staff about a significant change programme one minute and then quickly turn your hand to crisis communications in the event of a terrorist attack? If so, then read on.
An exciting opportunity has become available within the Regional Communications Team supporting Counter Terrorism Policing South East and the South East Regional Organised Crime Unit. This is a unique area of police communications where no two days are the same. You would be joining a small but mighty team of communicators and have plenty of opportunities to lead on some significant pieces of work both at a local, regional and national level.
The successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills as well as proven skills in working on your own initiative and writing for audience needs. The ideal candidate for this role will have proven ability to plan, prioritise, implement and monitor communications projects seeing the work through to completion and effective distribution.
We offer a hybrid working approach, so you will have a base at a location within the South East Region and be able to work remotely at times. There will also be some travel required to force areas across the region.
