Role Overview:
As a Local Government Solicitor, you will provide expert legal counsel to municipal councils, ensuring compliance with local and national regulations. You will be responsible for handling a wide range of legal matters, including public law, regulatory issues, governance, planning, and contract law.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Provide high-quality legal advice to local authorities on complex public law matters.
2. Advise on governance, regulatory compliance, and legislative changes.
3. Represent local government clients in litigation, including disputes, contracts, and planning matters.
4. Draft legal documents, policies, and contracts in line with statutory requirements.
