About the role
This role presents an exciting opportunity to introduce good practice and evolve procurement and supplier management within our organization. As part of our journey to maturity, we are seeking a dynamic, enthusiastic individual who engages stakeholders to understand needs and is focused on securing the right supplier to deliver against those outcomes at a competitive price and with a good level of service throughout the lifecycle of the supplier. Texthelp is a dynamic environment and procurement will be delivering service across our global footprint.
Main Responsibilities
Strategy: Mature the procurement strategy across the group, ensuring it encompasses the global nature of the business and allows for a pragmatic and workable approach to deliver results.
Procurement Planning: Assessing the organisation's needs, planning when work needs to be completed so time is given to completing relevant market engagement and negotiation. Communicating the plan to relevant stakeholders so they can provide time and effort to support a successful outcome.
Market Engagement: Either as the lead or a supporting advisor, ensure needs are understood to allow for internal sign off before market engagement to ensure the right solution is delivered. Engage multiple vendors to test the market and provide options for the business to consider that meet the time, cost and quality expectations of our internal teams.
Contract Management: Support the contract lifecycle including drafting, negotiation, socialisation, sign off, issues in live and supporting through to exit. Ensure regular reviews of long-standing contracts to ensure they are still fit for purpose.
Supplier Management: Support and develop supplier management activity on our key suppliers to ensure as a group we get the most from our suppliers and actively participate in the relationship throughout the life of a contract.
Compliance, Regulations and Ethics: Working with a strong code of ethics to select and onboard suppliers to company and regulatory requirements, ensuring strong relationships throughout the lifecycle of a supplier.
Risk and Reporting: Develop and manage key performance and key risk indicators for suppliers across the group including these and other key metrics in reporting.
Line Management: There will be a Procurement Manager to manage and access to external suppliers to support flexible resourcing and ensure we can provide the coverage necessary.
Essential Criteria
* Over 3+ years of experience managing procurement in a global setting
* Experience setting up a procurement function
* Experience of procurement over a range of categories including Tech and Marketing
* 3+ years of direct leadership experience
* Demonstrated strong communication and collaboration skills
Desirable Criteria
* CIPS Accreditation
