As an Infrastructure Engineer, we seek individuals with experience in Infrastructure as Code (IaC), Python, Docker, and Kubernetes. Familiarity with the CI/CD process development is essential. We value experience in Cloud Engineering, particularly with Azure, GCP, and preferably AWS. Additionally, a good understanding of ML and AI methodologies is highly advantageous. You may be assessed on critical skills relevant for success in this role, including risk and controls, change and transformation, business acumen, strategic thinking, and digital and technology skills, as well as job-specific technical skills.
Key Responsibilities
1. Building and maintaining data architecture pipelines that enable the transfer and processing of durable, complete, and consistent data.
2. Designing and implementing data warehouses and data lakes that manage appropriate data volumes and velocities while adhering to required security measures.
3. Developing processing and analysis algorithms suitable for the relevant data complexity and volumes.
4. Collaborating with data scientists to build and deploy machine learning models.
5. Partnering with other functions and business areas, taking responsibility for the end results of the team’s operations.
6. Escalating breaches of policies and procedures appropriately and embedding new policies and procedures adopted for risk mitigation.
7. Advising and influencing decision-making within your area of expertise and managing risks while strengthening controls related to your work.

This position is based out of our Glasgow Campus. You will have an impact on the work of related teams and be expected to maintain a strong understanding of how your sub-function integrates with the broader function, including knowledge of our organization's products, services, and processes. It is important to demonstrate an understanding of how various areas coordinate to achieve the objectives of the organization. You will be expected to make evaluative judgments based on factual information and resolve problems using your technical expertise. Act as a contact point for stakeholders outside of your immediate function while building a network of contacts both within and outside the organization.
