Job Title: Neuro Occupational Therapist Banding : Band 6 Location : Bedford, Bedfordshire Working Hours: 37.5 hours per week Our NHS client is looking for an experienced and caring Band 6 Occupational Therapist to join their neurological service, based in Bedford, Bedfordshire. The post is available to start as soon as possible, offering full-time hours for an ongoing period. What will your responsibilities be? The postholder will work within an outpatient neurological service with patients who have recently being diagnosed with a neurological event. The appointed Therapist will be part of the interdisciplinary team (IDT) delivering high quality specialist occupational therapy for clients by adherence to clinical governance and evidence-based practice. The postholder will provide service in a range of community settings using highly developed specialist practice underpinned by theoretical knowledge/neuro qualifications. Applying therapists should have previous experience in neuro to be considered for this role. Qualifications and Experiences: Be HCPC registered as an Occupational therapist Hold a relevant qualification in Occupational therapy Previous NHS experience within an intermediate care setting The ability to build good rapport with patients Excellent interpersonal skills How to apply?
