Job Description
My Client is a Mechanical and Electrical Contractor based in Warwick who have been established for over 50 years. We have an excellent name in the Construction Industry and we work for Main Contractors. Reporting to the Mechanical Maintenance Manager, you will be working on reactive and planned maintenance in a variety of commercial and domestic situations including Offices, Health Centres, Hotels, Schools, Residential, Care Homes, and Student Accommodation.
You will need to be multi-skilled to carry out a variety of maintenance tasks such as fault finding and rectifying leaks, reporting back to the office with any material requirements and providing a report/note for the Client.
These tasks may include working on showers, toilets, under sinks, and downpipes. You will also be responsible for diagnosing issues with boilers and heating systems.
For this role, you will need a good knowledge of all systems, be organized and practical, and maintain an excellent standard of workmanship. My Client also has various planned maintenance contracts where you will conduct checks and services on systems including boilers, hot and cold water supplies, heating, and ventilation.
This role supports the major projects team after project completion during the 12 or 24 month defect period, working with Customer Care who will schedule your visits during the week. All work is in the Midlands area, predominantly in and around Birmingham, with some visits in Nottingham and locally to the office.
You will need to have a strong customer focus as you will be entering people’s homes and offices, requiring you to be respectful, polite, and communicate well.

Experience/Requirements:
1. At least five years relevant construction industry experience in either an installation or maintenance environment.
2. NVQ in plumbing – domestic and commercial.
3. NVQ in Heating and Ventilation.
4. Gas Safe Qualified (Domestic as a minimum).
5. Hold a relevant trade CSCS skills card.
6. Full UK Driver's License.
7. Excellent customer service skills.
8. Ability to work independently and pro-actively, making decisions where required.
9. Positive and friendly outlook.
Package:
