Your Role:
You’ll play a key role in delivering cost management excellence across major infrastructure projects. Working closely with clients and project teams, you’ll ensure projects run smoothly, efficiently, and within budget. Your expertise will help drive successful outcomes, making a tangible impact on the UK’s infrastructure landscape.
What You’ll Be Doing:
🔹 Client & Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong relationships, provide expert commercial advice, and act as a trusted advisor.
🔹 Contract Administration: Manage NEC contracts, ensuring compliance and best practice contract management.
🔹 Cost Management: Forecast, report, and manage costs to maintain project financial integrity. Identify variances early and keep projects on track.
🔹 Project Delivery: Work collaboratively with teams to ensure cost control, value engineering, and programme performance.
🔹 Risk & Value Management: Identify risks early, mitigate issues, and promote value engineering to drive efficiency.
🔹 Final Accounts & Reporting: Handle valuations, applications, and final accounts with transparency and accuracy.
🔹 Leadership & Development: Support junior team members, share best practices, and contribute to continuous improvement.
What We’re Looking For:
✔ Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Engineering, or related field
✔ Membership of or working towards RICS, CIOB, ACostE (or similar)
✔ Experience within infrastructure, utilities, or construction projects
✔ Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
✔ Strong understanding of NEC contracts
✔ Proficiency in cost control, change management, and forecasting
✔ A problem-solving mindset and a passion for delivering best-in-class project outcomes
