Teaching Personnel is seeking a passionate and dedicated Religious Education & Philosophy Teacher to join a high-achieving secondary school in Poole from September 2025. This is a 0.8 FTE position, offering an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic educator to inspire and challenge students in an engaging and supportive learning environment.

The Role
As an RE & Philosophy Teacher, you will:
✔ Deliver engaging and thought-provoking lessons across Key Stages 3, 4, and potentially Key Stage 5, following the national curriculum and exam board specifications.
✔ Encourage students to explore moral, philosophical, and ethical perspectives in a respectful and analytical manner.
✔ Plan and prepare high-quality lessons, ensuring all students are challenged and supported in their learning.
✔ Assess and provide feedback in line with school policies, maintaining high expectations for progress and attainment.
✔ Contribute to the wider school community, including participating in department meetings, CPD opportunities, and school events.
Candidate Requirements

✅ Qualified teachers with QTS/QTLS (or equivalent teaching qualifications).
✅ Educators with experience in teaching Religious Education, Philosophy, or Ethics at secondary level.
✅ Teachers who are passionate about encouraging critical thinking and open discussion in the classroom.
