The Payroll team supports our colleagues across the business by ensuring their pay is processed seamlessly and easily. Our aim is to deliver a first-class service, so our colleagues can keep doing what they do best!
The Payroll Administrator is an integral role, in supporting the team to support the business. You will be part of a diverse, dynamic team helping to deliver payroll to over 35,000 colleagues, resolving their queries, and ensuring the upkeep of our data and systems.
To succeed in this role, you should desire to put our colleagues at the centre of all you do. You should have a keen eye for detail, love learning, adapt to change, and be able to work with the team to meet key deadlines.
What You'll Be Doing:
1. Together with the team, effectively process payroll for circa 35,000 on a weekly, lunar and monthly basis, with a right-first-time approach.
2. Supporting the regular upkeep of our employee data and payroll systems.
3. Support all colleagues by investigating and resolving queries, via our ticketing system and on the phone.
4. Assisting the management team with ongoing projects in the department.
What We're Looking For:
1. Previous experience in payroll processing in any size of business.
2. Competent in the use of Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
3. Proven ability of a strong customer service philosophy.
4. A desire to learn and continuously improve.
5. Being able to keep our colleagues at the centre of all you do.
6. Able to organise your time to meet key deadlines both by yourself and as part of the team.
7. Excellent communication skills to be able to break down pay queries to make them understandable for our colleagues.
