The role
This is an important position within the context of our safety culture within the Airport, providing your colleagues with best practice emergency preparedness & response training. Your core responsibilities will be:
* Develop and deliver a comprehensive training programme for Incident Management (Strategic, Tactical and Operational levels).
* Continually assess and update the training materials to respond to new threats, technological advancements and regulatory requirements.
* Own and manage the Learning Management System.
* Coordinate and schedule training, ensuring all necessary recipients complete required training.
* Manage rosters and liaise with internal departments to ensure release of colleagues for training.
* Deliver simulated exercises and real-world scenario training.
* Conduct pre and post training assessments.
* Gather and report feedback.
* Promote overall EMP culture.
What will make you successful in the role?
To be successful in this role, you will possess:
* An understanding of Emergency Management principles, practices and regulations.
* Knowledge of various training methodologies.
* In-depth knowledge of Incident Command and JESIP principles.
* Track record of developing and delivering training programmes.
* Experience within incident and emergency management.
* Experience in delivering live and tabletop exercises.
* Certificate of the CBCI (not mandatory)
* A recognised training qualification.
