The Role As an experienced English Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in shaping young minds and engaging students across different key stages through delivering exciting lessons that spark curiosity and creativity. Your role will involve planning and teaching a diverse curriculum that meets the needs of all learners. Key Responsibilities Of An English Teacher Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality English lessons that that align with the curriculum and educational standards, also cater to a range of abilities. Create a stimulating and supportive learning environment that encourages student engagement and participation. Inspire and engage students through dynamic teaching methods and interactive activities. Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support to help them achieve their academic goals. Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and resources, contributing to the school's English department. Foster a positive relationship with students, parents, and colleagues to promote a cohesive learning community. Required Qualifications For An English Teacher Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a relevant degree in English or a related field. Experience as an English Teacher in the school level, with a passion for the subject and a commitment to student success. Strong classroom management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities and differentiate teaching approaches to meet the needs of diverse learners. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proactive approach to collaboration and commitment to continuous professional development.
