My client a leading local housing assocation are currently seeking an experienced disrepair supervisor to join thier team on a perm basis. Reporting to the Service Delivery Manager, the Technical Supervisors will work collaboratively with other colleagues across the business and within the designated service (either Disrepair or D&M) from first report through to final invoicing to ensure smooth service delivery through effective day to day management. You'll be responsible for people management of a team, so people management experience is a must.
Responsibilities include:
1. Liaising with the works scheduling team and sub-contractors to ensure accuracy of job information, timely report submissions, suitable allocation of work, and invoicing.
2. Carrying out pre and post inspections to ensure a good standard to work.
3. Assisting the Service Delivery Manager (SDM) in managing the contractors to ensure excellent service delivery, continually looking for process improvements to improve efficiency, costs, and meet agreed targets.
4. Supporting the SDM by providing data, reports and MI (e.g. for quality control and budgetary data).
5. Stakeholder and people management: performance monitoring, attend monthly sub-contractor meetings, liaising with internal and external customers such as legal departments, client representatives, local authorities etc.
