QA Inspector Position in the Automotive Manufacturing Sector
We are looking to recruit a QA Inspector for a manufacturing company based in Doncaster. Are you looking to forge a new career within the automotive quality sector? Duties of the QA Inspector Role:
1. On bay QA
2. Final QA
3. QA stats and presentation (monthly)
4. Ensuring the team covers all the required hours to meet production demands.
5. Manage and use the QA tablet system for recording checks.
6. Minor vehicle rectifications (as defined by Director level).
7. Identify failure trends and report back with solutions.
8. QA all paperwork and job sheets as well as vehicles.
9. Support health and safety awareness.
10. Support the operation by re-deploying the team if needed.
11. Create and implement processes to improve efficiencies and quality.
12. Work as required to ensure the overall department achieves its goals as this is a salaried position without overtime.
13. Check over any vehicle conversions to ensure that all items have been fitted correctly and are in full working order and tutor and educate the team.
14. Apply stickers, rubber matting, and any other items required.
15. Use vehicle weigh pads and record details of each type of conversion.
16. Complete all relevant paperwork required.
17. Assist with vehicle handovers, which may include customer contact.
18. Assist the Compliance Manager and the Workshop Manager with any other tasks required.
19. Perform ad hoc duties as and when required.

3. Hold a valid driving licence.
4. Basic computer skills.
5. Effective communication and positive relations with employees at all levels within the organization and external contacts including customers and suppliers.
6. Problem solving.

8. Confidentiality regarding all processes, data, and information contained and discussed in the department.
9. Awareness of all Company policies and Health and Safety procedures and practices.
