This role will see the successful candidate take responsibility for commercial matters; managing contracts and overseeing the estimating team while supporting new business and enabling company growth. Main duties include management of opportunities, prioritising the estimating team's workload, and reviewing a variety of contracts.

The Role:
* Accountable for ensuring compliance with applicable customer contractual requirements and regulations in all aspects
* Monitoring day-to-day commercial performance of each customer account
* Act as the point of contact for customers regarding commercial issues and topics, developing strong working relationships
* Regularly liaising with clients to manage expectations, establishing appropriate review meetings
* Manage a bid/no-bid process to ensure value-added and low-risk business
* Manage a team of estimators to ensure all requests for pricing are completed promptly and accurately
* Ensuring all relevant data/drawings/models are supplied prior to quoting
* Work with Estimators and Procurement to ensure material, bought out, and subcontractor pricing is supplied promptly
* Completing bid package compliance paperwork as per the RFP instructions. Gathering the information from relevant departments to complete customer templates
* Managing the contact review process
* Conduct reviews of NDAs, LTAs, and contracts to identify risks
* Review and negotiate customer T&Cs in advance of signing or dispute
* Ensure secure upkeep of commercial electronic records, in line with GDPR.
The Person:
* Proven experience with people management and leadership
* Experience with costing of work packages
* Strong understanding of contract law
