Job Title: Finance Business Partner
Location: Vitacress Salads, St Marybourne, Andover (Hybrid)
Salary Range: £60,000 - £65,000 (depending on experience)
Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday, 8.30 - 5pm.

Working closely with the Commercial and Operations teams, you will be responsible for gross margin maintenance and operational efficiency of Vitacress Salads. You will be an integral part of the Commercial team helping to make pricing decisions, defend price challenges, negotiate annual terms, and consider new product development. You will also have the opportunity to work closely in supporting the business partner of Operations to drive efficiency.
You will be involved in a wide range of tasks covering reporting, business partnering, and any other additional business requirements.
Main Responsibilities:
* Design and develop Qlik reporting for Commercial and Operations from IFS data.
* Daily and weekly labour cost reporting to the business with highlights of challenges and opportunities.
* Business partner the Heads of Commercial and Operations providing accurate, insightful, timely information for decision making ensuring adequate financial control.
* Develop and own the financial forecast for Commercial and Operations.
* Ensure that factory costs are accurately apportioned to individual products to derive meaningful product profitability.
* Review sales, marketing and operational accruals and journals.
* Compile the month-end commentary and financial analysis for sales, marketing and operations including price/volume/mix variance, labour cost and waste analysis.
* Assist with strategic forecasting by producing detailed sales forecasts driven by estimates of market growth and developments.
You will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to communicate and explain financial concepts to non-finance people. You will also have the ability to conduct report writing and extract information from ERP systems, as well as be highly numerate with the ability to handle large volumes of data and skim information for analysis, reporting, and business decisions.
Having advanced Excel skills to design and maintain efficient analysis and reporting models is an essential key element for this role, along with previous experience within the manufacturing or food industry.
