Join AZAD as a Project Coordinator to support managers and Project Managers (PMs) who are assigned to the PMO Telecommunications, Facilities, & Security (TEPF) organization within Bonneville Power Administration (BPA). This position will support project work through the full lifecycle for Substation, Telecommunication, Transmission Lines, and Facility type projects that will expand, maintain, and enhance transmission line operations. TEPF is responsible for the planning, execution, and monitoring of capital projects.
This is a 2 years plus consultant position with high probability of long term and ongoing continued employment. This position can either be based in Vancouver, Washington and is hybrid with work performed onsite 1-2 days weekly.
The hourly pay rate for this position (which includes a health and welfare fringe benefit of $4.57) is $29.57 - $37.57.
The ideal candidate must possess the minimum qualifications:
1. A bachelor's degree in engineering, business administration or management, organizational development, computer science, or other related technical discipline is preferred.
2. 5 years of experience is required with an applicable bachelor's degree.
3. 7 years of experience is required with a bachelor's degree not in applicable fields.
4. 9 years of experience is required without a degree.
5. Experience should include direct work experience in a project coordination/control capacity, including all aspects of process development and execution.
6. Must be capable of applying a diversified knowledge of principles and practices in assigned technical areas.
7. Requires a working knowledge of automated data systems.
8. Demonstrated proficiency using MS Project or similar program (i.e. Primavera) to create, analyze, and manipulate project schedules.
9. Demonstrated experience using SharePoint to maintain and create project sites for use and storage of project documents and content.
10. Ability to analyze, understand, and effectively document technical data.
11. Ability to store, manipulate, and organize large numbers of files and folders using Microsoft Windows networks or other document management programs.
12. Valid U.S. Driver's License is required.
First Aid/AED/CPR Certification required within 30 days of assignment start. Worker/Employer is responsible for maintaining current certification.
Energized Facility Permit is required within one year of assignment start. Type: Substation Entry Permit (SEP)
Ability to pass a federal background and drug screening is required.
