The Role:
This role will focus on outbound shipping for large OEMs using components built by this business. You will be responsible for all aspects of outbound shipping, including trade compliance, proper process adherence, customer requirements and specifications, shipment creation, and route planning. Responsibilities of the role:
* Manage outbound shipping of aerospace components to customer OEMs.
* Book freight forwarding, track deliveries, monitor paperwork, and ensure adherence to outbound processes.
* Follow SAP procedures and customer software for process compliance.
* Ensure compliance with trade regulations, both UK-based and international, and shipping process standards.
Skills required:
* Previous experience in a similar shipping role.
* Experience working in a manufacturing environment with shipping compliance.
* Strong knowledge of compliance standards and protocol adherence.
* Experience in the aerospace industry related to shipping is highly desirable.
