Job Summary
The Head of Human Resources is a pivotal leadership role responsible for overseeing all aspects of the HR function within the organisation. This position requires a strategic thinker with a strong background in human resources management, who can effectively communicate and implement HR policies and practices that support the overall business objectives. The successful candidate will lead a team, ensuring that HR initiatives align with organisational goals while fostering a positive workplace culture.
Responsibilities
1. Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
2. Supervise and mentor the HR team, providing guidance on best practices in human resources management.
3. Manage recruitment processes using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) such as Taleo and Workday to attract top talent.
4. Oversee employee onboarding, training, and development programmes to enhance employee engagement and retention.
5. Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations while maintaining company policies.
6. Conduct data analysis to assess HR metrics, providing insights to improve workforce planning and performance.
7. Facilitate effective communication across all levels of the organisation to promote a cohesive work environment.
8. Manage employee relations issues, ensuring fair treatment and resolution of conflicts.
Skills
1. Strong communication skills with the ability to present ideas clearly and effectively to diverse audiences.
2. Extensive knowledge of human resources practices, including experience with HRIS systems like PeopleSoft.
3. Proven experience in supervising teams and managing HR functions within an organisation.
4. Proficiency in data analysis skills to interpret HR metrics for informed decision-making.
5. Familiarity with various HR technologies, including Workday, ATS systems, Taleo, and other relevant tools.
6. Ability to foster a positive workplace culture through effective leadership and employee engagement strategies.

Pay: £45,000.00-£55,000.00 per year
