Job description ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES Provide personal care to clients, including bathing, dressing, and grooming. Administer and manage medications according to individual care plans. Assist with meal preparation and feeding to ensure proper nutrition. Offer emotional support and companionship to clients, fostering well-being. Support clients with mobility, including helping with walking or using aids. Complete light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean, safe living environment. Drive clients to appointments, run errands, and offer transport for other needs (must have a driving licence and car). Monitor and document any changes in health conditions and communicate them to the care team. QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS Full UK Driving Licence and access to a vehicle for travel between clients. Previous experience in healthcare or domiciliary care (preferred but not required). NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care (desirable). PREFERRED SKILLS Strong communication skills for interaction with clients and their families. Compassionate, patient, and understanding approach to care. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Reliable and professional attitude with strong organisational skills. Attention to detail for accurate health monitoring and care documentation. ADDITIONAL NOTES £12 per hour ( £12.75ph from April) with guaranteed 37.5 hours per week. Shift times: 7am-7pm or 2pm-10pm, with alternate weekend shifts. Paid training, development opportunities, and mileage allowance. (Mileage doesn’t cover from home to first client or from last client to home)
