What will you be doing?
The Retail Test Team is part of a wider Digital and Proposition team, working collaboratively to ensure seamless operations and excellent customer outcomes. Our teams are dedicated to delivering high-quality outputs, ensuring that our Broker partners and customers receive the best possible products and experiences.
The Retail Test Team ensures all changes and system functionalities perform as expected. The team rigorously tests new developments and updates, identifying any issues or incidents to guarantee smooth and reliable operations for our Retail functions.
Reporting to the Retail Automation Test Lead, this role will require strong working relationships with members of the UKGI Pricing & Underwriting Department and other areas of UK Retail, along with collaboration with external parties.
Key responsibilities:
1. Support the Automation Test Lead in developing and implementing testing initiatives.
2. Analyse and update test data to fit the requirements under test.
3. Execute testing and analyse results, ensuring any defects are investigated, accurately recorded, and monitored through to resolution.
4. Create, maintain, and execute test tools and test data with a high level of accuracy.
5. Ensure effective incident logging and manage defects through to resolution.
6. Maintain a good understanding of Quality Assurance processes.
Your skills and experience:
1. Proven experience of working to tight deadlines.
2. Strong data analysis skills and attention to detail.
3. Proficiency in using Excel for data manipulation and analysis.
4. Ability to learn quickly and adapt to different ways of working.
5. Passionate and care about the outcome.
6. Curious enough to ask the next question.
7. Able to change approaches to gain a shared understanding and achieve the best outcome.
