Job Title: Forklift Yard Operative Pay: From £13.21 per hour Job Type: Full-time, Permanent Location: Wirral/Cheshire Independent Builders Merchant - Yard Operative A well-established builders' merchant with multiple locations across the North West is looking for a motivated individual to join our team as a Yard Operative / Forklift Driver. This role will be based across local sites. Key Responsibilities Assisting customers in the yard and maintaining positive customer relations. Managing stock levels, picking orders, and loading/unloading deliveries. Carrying out general yard duties as required to support business operations. Requirements Valid FLT (Forklift Truck) licence and clean driving licence are essential. Self-motivated with strong interpersonal skills and a customer-focused attitude. Experience in timber and building materials is desirable but not required. Working Hours 39 hours per week, plus alternate Saturday mornings.
