We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Registered Care Manager (RCM) within our residential service in Dereham. This is a full-time position, working 37.5 hours per week with a salary of £33,930 per annum.
In this role, you will oversee a six-bedded home providing personalised support to individuals with complex needs.
As a RCM, your responsibilities will include managing the day-to-day operations of the residential service to ensure it meets organizational and CQC standards. You will lead a team of Deputy Managers and Support Workers, supporting individuals in their home and community to achieve their goals.
There will be another RCM in the adjoining services who oversees a Supported Living service and two independent flats.
Shift patterns will primarily be Monday to Friday, with occasional evenings and weekends.

Your duties can include:
11. Promoting fully inclusive access to a wide range of activities both provided internally and externally.

14. Identify needs and outcomes for each individual we support.
15. Deliver services that meet or exceed Sense’s legal and organisational standards.
Your required skills and experiences:
16. Prior experience of managing in a care setting and good knowledge & understanding of a Residential and/or Supported Living service.
17. NVQ Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care - or willing to work towards it is essential. Sense will fund this qualification.
18. Experience of using British Sign Lanuage (BSL) or having a BSL or Makaton qualification is desirable.
19. Experience of supporting people with Challenging Behaviour, Epilepsy or have experience with administrating PEG, BNS, Buccolam in a professional/personal capacity is desirable.
