About Sizewell C The Sizewell C (SZC) nuclear new build project on the Suffolk coast is the second UK EPR facility to be constructed, following the Hinckley Point project in Somerset. The SZC project team have been tasked with delivering this critical UK infrastructure within a challenging time period. What you'll be doing This role will be Monday – Friday - hybrid. As a Project Manager, you will have the following responsibilities, An IT and Communications Project Manager will lead the delivery team to execute all SZC MEH infrastructure requirements through the lifecycle of the Sizewell C MEH Alliance scope of works. Day to day management and leadership of the project and team. Provide effective leadership and management controls. Set project controls. Design the project structure and organisation appropriate to stage. Set appropriate delivery methodologies. Manage effective transition between project phases. Develop the budget and track delivery within budget. Identify skill requirements; and deploy and develop resources. Manage medium sized team. Deliver the agreed Business Case benefits and outcomes. Identify and manage stakeholder relationships and need for senior level and Client support. Manage internal and external relationships as appropriate. Identify and monitor project risks and issues. Develop mitigating actions and escalate as appropriate. Identify and work with related projects to manage interdependencies. Engage with assurance reviews and support action on recommendations. Organise assurance processes such as gateway reviews, as required. Provide support, guidance and coaching for the MEH project team. Who we're looking for Do you have? A Degree in HND /HNC Engineering or suitable experience in construction project Engineering/ management. Experience of heavily regulated, high hazard industry Experience of Building Services systems EPC. Desirable but not essential is direct experience of managing the EPC of IT and Communication systems.
