This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic, motivated and creative Year 2 Teacher eager to make a real difference in the learning of students attending the school. You'll have the opportunity to be an English lead, playing a pivotal role in shaping the curriculum and the outcome of learning provided, all while developing your own professional skills and expertise.
The Role:
1. Plan and prepare engaging lessons based on individual needs to motivate all learners.
2. Teach according to the children's academic needs.
3. Mark and assess within the school policies and procedures.
4. Complete ongoing assessments, recording progress and reporting to middle and senior leaders.
5. Communicate effectively with parents and carers regarding pupils' achievements and well-being.
6. Have responsibility and develop leadership under the direction of SLT for leadership and management of the subject.
7. Ensure that the subject complies with statutory requirements in terms of curriculum assessment and recording and reporting pupil attainment, progress, and results.
8. Lead a team effectively to achieve key outcomes.
9. Lead a subject reporting progress and achievement.
