So, what will I be doing, you ask? You will be fitting accessories to vehicles both in the workshop on-site or travelling to your customer and fitting them on their site. They need a part fitting, and there you are, ready and on hand, in the company vehicle you'll be using on that particular day. As a fitter, you could find yourself out and about every day, possibly overnight, or you could find yourself in your workshop. It really depends on the customer needs that particular week. Some of the accessories are more technical than others, so if you have a bit of electrical know-how (no, we don’t need you to be an electrician), we need you to understand what colour wire goes where, following simple instructions. With your trusty toolkit of hand tools by your side, you can quickly spot a defect and make it work – you just have that knack You’ll need to be flexible, as the role involves off-site work with early starts, late finishes, and overnight stays. You’re someone that knows that if you’ve got multiple jobs in the same location, the expectation is you’ll need your overnight bag and stay over. Because your job takes you all over the country With overtime available at time and a half, giving you the opportunity to boost your earnings. The Manager of the department started off designing the very products you are fitting and has been with the business for over 10 years, so any issues, he’s your go-to. As part of this role, you’ll need a full, clean driving licence, and we’ll provide you with access to the company vehicle.
