Administrator; Receptionist: The Julier Centre Bicester

We are currently recruiting for a Receptionist to join the Oxford Health Trust. The post holder will act as a professional, effective and efficient Receptionist and Administrator for the diverse group of services working within the Julier Centre in Bicester. You will be the first point of contact for patients and visitors attending the Julier Centre and will support with the flow of visitors in and out of the building, assisting patients and visitors with queries, and appointment management as required. The post holder will support with general administrative tasks for services using the building, in particular working closely with the North East Podiatry Team. Additionally, you will contribute to office/building management, and act as a fire marshal for the site, completing the provided additional training for this role.
Main duties of the job
The responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to:
* Managing the reception desk and waiting area and overseeing the flow of patients and other visitors in and out of the building.
* Supporting patients and services with appointment management and general enquiries.
* Supporting with the management of space in the building, including room bookings.
* Supporting services using the building with general admin tasks.
* Supporting with the maintenance of the building.
* Taking on the role of Fire Marshall for the site.

Person Specification
Knowledge
* Maths and English GCSEs, Grade C or above or NVQ Level 2 equivalent
* Good working knowledge of information governance within healthcare, including GDPR and confidentiality principles.
Experience
* Previous experience of working in an administrative or receptionist role.
* Experience of working within a team
* Previous NHS experience
* Experience of using an electronic patient record system.
* Experience of managing diary/booking systems
Skills
* Competence using Microsoft Office 365, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and MS Teams.
* Ability to communicate effectively with professionals and service users with diverse and varying communication needs.
* Ability to use a range of office equipment including multi-functional devices.
* Good professional communication skills.
