Salary : £30 - £35 per hour Location : Gloucestershire Job Type : Part-time We are looking for SEN Tutors to provide tailored 1:1 support for students with Special Educational Needs. This part-time role focuses on enhancing the student's understanding and engagement with core subjects, fostering both academic success and personal growth. Day-to-day of the role: Design and implement individualised educational plans that cater to the specific needs of the SEN student. Engage the student with interactive and adaptive teaching methods suitable for their learning style and capabilities. Regularly assess the student's progress and adjust teaching strategies to maximise effectiveness. Provide consistent feedback to parents or guardians regarding the student's development and any additional support needed. Create a supportive and understanding environment to help the student achieve their goals. Required Skills & Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is preferred. Experience in working with students with Special Educational Needs. Strong knowledge of various curriculum and adaptive teaching practices. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a patient and motivating teaching approach. A commitment to professional development and staying updated with the latest educational strategies.
