We are really excited to be recruiting for a Head of Marketing role with a dynamic SME specialising in the provision of high-quality technical products to a diverse client base including large distributors, wholesalers, utilities, and end users. As they continue to expand their market presence and product offerings, we are recruiting them a highly skilled and strategic Head of Marketing to support them in their efforts with continued growth through building and driving the marketing strategy for the next stage and beyond.\n\nAs the Head of Marketing, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing the marketing strategy.
You will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive marketing plans to drive brand awareness, generate leads, and ultimately increase sales across various channels. The ideal candidate will possess a combination of strategic vision, creativity and strong leadership skills to drive results in a fast-paced environment, whilst also being happy to role your sleeves up and get involved with some of the delivery.\n\nWhat you will be doing:\n\nDevelop and execute a strategic marketing plan aligned with business objectives and target markets.\nLead and mentor a team of marketing professionals to achieve departmental goals and objectives.\nIdentify market trends, competitive intelligence, and customer insights to inform marketing strategies.\nOversee the development of marketing collateral, including sales materials, presentations, and digital assets.\nManage and optimize digital marketing efforts, including website management, SEO/SEM, email marketing, and social media.\nEnsuring the CRM is being used to its full potential – building data sets, setting up automation and analytics.\nTaking responsibility for the Amazon account, building a relationship and ensuring the most effective sales strategy/margins.\nCollaborate cross-functionally with sales, product development, and other departments to ensure alignment and support business objectives.\nTrack and analyse marketing performance metrics to measure effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.\nHaving a commercial approach to Marketing expenditure and managing a marketing spend effectively, ensuring maximum ROI on marketing investments.\nImpacting where possible on maximising gross margin. \nWhat we are looking for:\n\nProven track record of success in strategic marketing roles within a technical B2B environment.\nAbility to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment and adapt quickly to changing priorities.\nStrong leadership and management skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.\nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.\nAnalytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.\nExperience selling for a business on Amazon would be advantageous.\nDemonstrable experience in developing and executing integrated marketing campaigns across multiple channels.\nProficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms, including Google Analytics, CRM systems, and marketing automation software.\nBachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field. \n\nIf you are a strategic thinker with a passion for marketing and a drive to make an impact, we want to hear from you!\n\nCherry Professional are recruiting for this opportunity on behalf of our client.
