1:1 and Alternative Provision - Coventry & Surrounding Areas
Key Responsibilities:
1. Plan and deliver engaging, multi-sensory lessons tailored to the individual learning styles of each student.
2. Support students who have complex emotional, behavioral, and social needs, including those with a history of school refusal.
3. Use de-escalation techniques, therapeutic approaches, and emotional regulation strategies to foster a safe and productive learning space.
4. Work closely with SENDCOs, speech and language therapists, and behavioral specialists to ensure a coordinated support plan.
5. Deliver a broad curriculum with a focus on Functional Skills, life skills, and confidence building.
Who We're Looking For:
1. QTS / QTLS teachers, SENCOs, or alternative provision specialists with experience in SEMH and SEND education.
2. Educators with expertise in ASD, PDA, ADHD, trauma, and attachment disorders.
3. Individuals with a background in restorative practice, social work, psychology, or mental health support.
4. A compassionate, flexible, and resilient approach to supporting students with complex needs.
