There are opportunities at Solihull Hospital within the portering department. We are looking to recruit bank porters.
The hours at the hospital are twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week. The shifts are as follows: 06:00 - 14:00, 14:00 - 22:00, 22:00 - 06:00, operating seven days a week.

Pay Rates:
* Days: £11.68
* Saturday/Nights: £14.61
* Sunday/Bank Holiday: £16.93
Main Duties:
We are looking for friendly, hardworking individuals to join an established team. The role involves a lot of walking while you are on duty, and you will be helping patients and visitors daily.

Person Specification:
Qualifications (Essential):
* General Education and Qualifications (e.g., G.C.S.E, N.V.Q., G.N.V.Q., A/O Levels)
* Basic level of education in literacy and numeracy
Experience (Essential):
* Able to work as a team member
* Dealing with the public and ability to work under pressure
* Organisational skills, sorting post
Additional Criteria (Essential):
* Willingness to undertake specific competencies to meet the full requirements of the role
* Basic I.T. Skills
* Planning and organisation skills
* Physically able to undertake all duties and comply with all relevant Trust policies
* Flexible and reliable for the needs of the service
* Willingness to suggest, assist and implement any changes to improve our standard of care
* Must hold a UK driving licence up to a maximum of 6 points due to Commercial Vehicle Insurance (Applicable Porter Driver posts only)
Desirable:
* Previous experience within a Healthcare environment
* Health and Safety knowledge
* Minimum 2 years driving experience
