Salary: £25,704 per annum, pro rata (Depending on experience)

The Role
The School is seeking to appoint an Office Administrator to join their IT department. This is a non-technical role based within the IT department and is designed to support the day-to-day administrative and reception functions of the IT department. The post holder is not expected to have any prior technical experience, but an interest in IT and a willingness to learn is important.
Job Purpose
The Office Administrator’s purpose is to provide administrative support and reception functions for the IT office. The Office Administrator supports all three schools. It is therefore a requirement of the role that the Office Administrator is flexible in their approach and able to work both independently and as part of the broader IT team.
Skills and Qualifications
* A good general level of education.
* Strong organisational skills, with the ability to plan, prioritise and multi-task across both immediate day-to-day tasks and regular weekly/monthly/termly tasks.
* Well-developed ICT skills with a good working knowledge of Word and Excel.
* Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of people internally and externally.
* An analytical and practical approach to problem solving.
* Close attention to detail and a conscientious approach.
* Well-developed written communication skills, with high standards of literacy.
* Flexibility and tolerance and a ‘can do attitude’.
* A proactive approach and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
