You will lead on the delivery of projects, ensuring they are delivered to the highest quality, on time, and to budget.
About You
As a Senior Structural Engineer you will be passionate about designing sustainable buildings, working within a forward-thinking multi-disciplinary practice and be enthused by working across varying sectors within the built environment.
Our ideal Senior Structural Engineer must have:
* Chartered Engineer with either the IStructE (preferred) or ICE.
* Good verbal communication – able to discuss work, and communicate effectively to work collaboratively as part of a team.
* An excellence in technical problem solving, risk management, and mitigation.
* Experience relevant to UK practice and knowledge of UK design standards, codes of practice, and methods of construction.
* Familiarity with structural engineering modelling, analysis, and design software.
It would be nice for you to have:
* The ability to work to deadlines and manage time with multiple tasks.
* The motivation to undertake relevant CPD and to increase skills and knowledge.
* Experience in day-to-day control of programming, planning, and costs.
* Experience in clash detection and co-ordination of multi-disciplinary projects.
* Insight into business development and proposal writing.
