Nursery Practitioner Position

About Us:
We are a well-established nursery providing a safe, engaging, and stimulating environment for children aged 6 months to 5 years. Our focus is on delivering high-quality care and early education to support each child's development and well-being.
Your Role:
As a Nursery Practitioner, you will be a valued member of our team, working alongside experienced staff to create an enriching atmosphere for the children. Your responsibilities will include planning and delivering age-appropriate activities, assisting with personal care needs, supporting mealtimes, and fostering a positive and caring environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan and deliver activities following the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum.
* Monitor and document children’s progress and development.
* Build strong, positive relationships with children and their families.
* Ensure a safe and hygienic environment at all times.
* Support children’s emotional well-being and provide comfort when needed.
* Collaborate with the team to create a stimulating and welcoming learning space.
Qualifications and Experience:
* Minimum NVQ Level 3 in Childcare or equivalent.
* Experience in a nursery or childcare setting is preferred.
* Knowledge of the EYFS curriculum.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* A genuine passion for early childhood development.
Working Hours:
Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8 am to 6 pm. We promote a work-life balance and offer a supportive work environment.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
