Job Description Ultra Precision Control Systems are are looking for a HR Manager on a Fixed Term basis to consistently deliver a pro-active, outcome driven professional HR service to the business through developing effective partnerships with business leaders which support the business strategy for Ultra-pcs. Accountable for ensuring the delivery of an efficient HR and Payroll and benefits service, including effective planning of projects and resources, in order to support the business achieve its goals. They will also be accountable for leading on our HRIS strategy and operational execution to maximise the investment. The post holder will also lead on the evolution of our Reward and Benefits proposition to ensure we attract the right talent into the business, as well as driving continuous service improvement across HR and ensuring strategic and operational priorities are delivered. Key responsibilities: Lead, coach and develop the HR team of 2 x HRBP's, 1 x HR Co-ordinator and 1 x HRIS Lead To develop effective and strong partnering relationships with key business leaders providing coaching and challenge when it is required To provide commercially focused, data driven HR solutions to our people leaders, in line with the goals and strategy of the business Monitor and review HR policies and processes and implement changes where necessary to ensure compliant with UK or US employment regulations. Proactively seek to reduce complexity where possible and to champion improvements required to support the strategy of our business Willingness to business partner with a small professional client group if required Ensure all processes associated with the full employee lifecycle are executed compliantly with the appropriate records being maintained. In conjunction with Talent Acquisition, drive recruitment to attract, develop and retain talent and build a pipeline for key positions Provide accurate and timely HR information and reports to enable the business to make decisions Manage complex employee relations casework including dispute resolutions, disciplinaries, grievances, performance, absence, reward and organisation changes. Manage talent and succession planning for Ultra PCS Implement a learning and development policy to create a high performance culture Oversee monthly payroll operations for the UK and working with Finance, ensure payroll is committed on time each month Lead HR projects such as annual PDR process and annual pay review cycle Champion employee engagement in partnership with our Internal Communications Manager. Deputise for the CHRO when required. Required qualifications and experience: Significant experience in a generalist HR role with a business partner approach Experience working in an Engineering/Manufacturing environment Possess excellent skills in data analysis to enable raw data to be translated into meaningful information to drive decision making Be able to effectively manage multiple stakeholders at all levels Strong track record in being able to effectively plan over the short / medium term, anticipating challenges ahead and unforeseen consequences of actions (or inaction) Relevant degree or CIPD qualified Excellent knowledge of UK employment law Experience working with Workday HRIS system would be an advantage Confident influencer communicator, and presenter who is comfortable challenging and coaching business leaders Exceptional organisational skills and someone who is motivated by results and strives to exceed expectations High energy, creative and resourceful self-starter who demonstrates leadership skills and instincts Team player, receptive to ideas.
