We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed person who will lead the development and delivery of a comprehensive careers programme which aims to prepare our students to make choices and engage in their transition in further education, training, and employment.
You will want to make a difference and be able to bring out the best in others, be approachable and articulate, organised and methodical, and have excellent administration and IT skills.
It is essential that you hold a qualification in Careers Guidance and a Level 6 Diploma in Career Guidance and Development or equivalent; have expert knowledge of legislation and guidance on careers, including the Gatsby Benchmarks, and hold GCSE Grade C or above in English and Maths or equivalent.
Farlingaye High School is a popular and successful school, located in Woodbridge, a pleasant market town situated on the River Deben in Suffolk and just 7 miles from Ipswich. We are a creative school with excellent resources, lovely students, and great results. Our most recent Ofsted report graded us Good with Outstanding features.
