Applications are invited for the post of Clinical Fellow Higher (ST4-5/ST6+) in Neonatal Medicine.
This post has the opportunity of working in our large tertiary neonatal intensive care unit and for applicants to gain experience in all aspects of neonatal care.
This post is available to start on 02 June 2025 for 12 months.
The Neonatal service offers the full range of Neonatal intensive care facilities including neonatal surgery, Neonatal Neurosurgery and Neonatal neurocritical care. There are approximately 6000 deliveries per year. The neonatal unit has 40 cots, 26 intensive and high dependency care and 12 special care cots as well as a further 12 transitional care cots on Charles Wolfson Ward.
The post offers training and experience identical to those of level 2 Specialty Trainees. You will have the opportunity to join in the wide range of educational and training opportunities within NICU which match those of recognised training posts.
Main duties of the job
This post is particularly suited to those wishing to gain experience at tier 2 level in a centre of excellence with more detailed information in the attached Job Description.

Full Registration and a Licence to Practice with the General Medical Council at point of application is required.

Non-UK applicants must possess the IELTS/OET exam before obtaining a GMC licence to practice.
