Responsibilities:
* Plan, prepare and deliver engaging and effective Humanities lessons for students
* Assess and evaluate students' progress through assignments, tests, and examinations
* Provide constructive feedback to students to support their learning and development
* Collaborate with colleagues to create a positive learning environment
* Participate in departmental meetings and professional development activities
Minimum Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Humanities or related field
* Teaching qualification (PGCE or equivalent)
* Previous experience teaching Humanities at the secondary level
* Strong understanding of the Humanities curriculum
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to inspire and motivate students
* Organisational and time-management skills
Desirable Qualifications:
Master's degree in Education or related field
Additional Information:
The role involves working in a school environment, following the academic calendar and schedule. Some additional hours may be required for lesson planning and grading outside of regular school hours.
