The Senior Business Analyst plays a key role in the successful delivery of change and continuous improvement at P2U in a number of ways. The Senior Business Analyst leads the analysis of complex processes, describing impacts of changes, and identifying inefficiencies and opportunities for innovation to enhance the user experience, patient care, optimize workflows, and improve system interoperability. The role involves working closely with stakeholders and function in a matrix environment to ensure that changes are properly understood, aligned to strategy and impacted against performance and budgets.
Additionally, the Senior Business Analyst leads and coaches a team of junior analysts, manages stakeholder expectations, and contributes to the successful implementation of digital healthcare initiatives that enhance patient experience, data accuracy, and operational efficiency.

What you’ll be doing?
Requirements Gathering & Analysis
* Lead workshops and stakeholder meetings to expose, document, and prioritise business and technical requirements.
* Support Product owners and others to translate complex business needs into clear functional and non-functional requirements for IT teams.
Change Delivery Support
* Work within Agile frameworks, contributing to sprint planning, backlog refinement, and user story creation.
* Support project managers in tracking progress, identifying risks, and ensuring timely delivery.
* Advocate and support use of P2U frameworks and change management principles and processes.
* Identify, assess, and mitigate potential risks related to business operations or projects.
Data & Insights Interpretation
* Leverage data to provide insights that drive decision-making and service improvements.
* Research and analysis of the impact of strategic changes.
* Collaborate closely with the Management Information and Data teams to support identification of trends, track benefit realisation, and support predictive analytics initiatives.
Process & System Improvement
* Analyse and optimize existing processes, identifying areas for efficiency, automation, and digitization.
* Design and document business workflows, user journeys, and system interactions.
Stakeholder Engagement & Communication
* Act as the bridge between business teams, clinicians, IT departments, and external vendors.
* Manage expectations and ensure stakeholder needs are met while balancing technical feasibility.
Mentoring & Best Practices
* Guide and mentor junior business analysts, promoting best practices in business analysis.
* Champion the use of analytical frameworks and user-centred design in digital solutions.
Who are we looking for?
* Extensive business analysis experience, including time spent in a senior role.
* Experience of managing or leading a team of business analysts.
* Experience in digital/e-commerce sector is essential.
* Experience in Healthcare sector is desirable.
* Expertise in Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and working in multidisciplinary teams.
* Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
* Experience in process modelling, data analysis, and requirements engineering.
* Proficiency in business & data analysis tools (JIRA, Confluence, Visio, BPMN, SQL, Power BI, Excel).
* Able to identify issues, evaluate options, and develop effective solutions, while considering long-term impacts and business needs.
