Do you love cars, photography, and swimming? Are you looking for a role where you can make a meaningful impact? Dimensions UK is searching for a male support worker to provide 2:1 support for a gentleman in his 40s, living in a supported living bungalow in Comberton.
About the role
This gentleman is full of personality! He enjoys snapping photos, going for drives in his brand-new car, and keeping active by swimming. He also loves exploring new hobbies and interests—one day, it might be magnet detecting: the next, something entirely new! He has a strong moral compass and values his close relationships with family, particularly his mum, who plays a big role in his life. He also enjoys spending time with his partner and attending a local drop-in day service twice a week.
Your role will involve supporting him in his daily life, providing encouragement while respecting his independence. Whether it’s prompting him with meal choices, supporting his medication routine, or helping him pursue his latest hobby, every day will bring new experiences. You’ll also assist in maintaining open communication with his family and ensuring his well-being.
What We’re Looking For
We are looking for a patient and understanding individual with a sense of fun! As this role requires driving, a full UK manual driving licence and access to your own vehicle are essential due to the location and mobility scheme requirements. Experience in support work is desirable but not essential—what matters most is your enthusiasm and commitment. Flexibility is key, as shifts include days, nights, and sleep-ins.
If you’re ready for a rewarding role where you can build meaningful connections while supporting someone to live life to the fullest, Dimensions UK wants to hear from you! Full training and ongoing development opportunities are provided in a supportive and friendly environment.
Why Join Dimensions UK?
* Competitive pay and benefits, including holiday pay and pension contributions.

* Ongoing training and career development opportunities to help you grow in your role.
* A supportive and inclusive work environment where you are valued and respected.
