This role will directly support the Head of Legal & Compliance and Legal Counsel to provide commercially focused legal advice on all aspects of the UK and Ireland Sandoz business. Carrying out the role will provide extensive development opportunities through exposure to challenging business issues in a fast moving environment.
Your responsibilities:
Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
* timely advice to the UK and Irish business on legal and commercial risks.
* Coordinate and filter input from relevant support functions (such as Compliance, Supply Chain, Regulatory) where this is required to develop the legal position on an issue.
* Conduct research on a variety of legal issues affecting the pharmaceutical industry, such as regulatory compliance, intellectual property, data privacy and healthcare laws.
* Support on the drafting, negotiation and implementation of simple contracts and other agreements with suppliers and customers.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams locally, and work with relevant Sandoz stakeholders at European and Global level.
* Contribute to the development of Sandoz UK’s position on various strategic and policy initiatives.
* Development and delivery of training materials to educate Sandoz team on the impact of legal developments.
* Preparation of reports and summaries on legal findings to support decision-making processes.

Minimum requirements:
* Degree in Law or a related field
* Must have a clear motivation and ambition to gain experience in a commercial environment
* Fluency in English - verbal and written – is required
* A strong IT skillset including: Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
* Hybrid working supported with 2 days a week in the office
