Support Engineer: 1st Line, Server, Troubleshooting, Support - (RL)
Our Client is looking for a skilled 1st line Engineer to join their dynamic team on a Temp to Perm basis. The ideal candidate will be responsible for break/fix server of HP, Dell and IBM. They will also be responsible for rack, stack, configure and server provisioning.

Pay Rate: £/day (PLEASE NOTE: Employer NI is paid for by the client)
Total Daily Earnings: £/day (includes rolled up holiday)
IR35 Status: Inside
Location: Camberley
Requirements:
1. Support Trainee DC Engineers when required.
2. Troubleshoot hardware faults and arrange replacements.
3. Install and decommission redundant equipment.
4. Provide expert hardware support.
5. Responsible for proactive updating of customer and resolution of service.
6. Co-operate and work closely with all members of the support team to ensure efficient, productive and high quality technical support and customer service to customers within the live Data Centre.
7. Liaise with onsite support engineers and within other sites.
8. Manage all incoming calls, emails to the data centre support function.
9. Liaise with third party suppliers to report and escalate customer problems.
10. Respond to customers within agreed SLA.
11. Follow escalation processes; tickets to support management and other teams as required.
12. Escalate tickets to 2nd line against agreed timescales and continue to monitor these tickets to resolution.

14. Should be a self-starter and be able to perform quality assurance and control to create technical deliverables that are error free/with minimal non-functional defects.
15. Experience in operationally supporting large, complex technical environment.

18. Strong interpersonal skills to establish/maintain relationships and interact with team members.
