Job Purpose: We're on the lookout for an ambitious, talented and detail-oriented Junior UI & UX Designer to join our UK office and directly collaborate and support our Head of Product Design. This role perfect for a graduate willing to start and expand their career into the world of product design Aside from being able to put together wireframes and prototypes in Figma, you will be collaborating with key stakeholders in our Product BA, Product Operations and Tech Leads to understand project requirements. Duties and Responsibilities Collaborate with the Head of Product design and stakeholders to understand project requirements. Create wireframes, prototypes, and user-flows using Figma to illustrate design ideas. Translate user needs and business requirements into intuitive and visually appealing UI designs. Ensure designs are consistent using design systems and brand guidelines. Updating and maintaining design systems. Communicate design concepts and rationale effectively to team members and stakeholders. Iterate designs based on user feedback to improve usability. Work closely with the development team to ensure smooth implementation of designs. Contribute to a positive team environment through active participation and creative problem solving. Qualifications Advanced skills in Figma : Proficiency in component design, variants, auto-layout and design systems/libraries. Also being able to put together advanced prototypes for presentation purposes. Communication : Ability to communicate and articulate design decisions clearly. Empathy: Understanding and advocating user needs in the design process. Collaboration : Ability to work in a team environment and to communicate effectively. Adaptable: Open to change and pivot when needed. Problem Solving : Strong problem solving skills to identify user pain points and solutions to address them Attention to Detail : Paying close attention to small design elements, interactions and overall aesthetics to ensure a polished and cohesive user experience. Time Management : Managing time and prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines and maintain design quality.
