We are seeking a skilled People Services & Payroll Manager to lead the implementation of a HR & Payroll system for a manufacturing business. This role offers the chance to drive transformative change in a dynamic and collaborative environment. Key Responsibilities Lead the Implementation: Oversee the full lifecycle of the HR & Payroll system implementation, ensuring alignment with the business’s requirements and strategy. Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work closely with the Group HR Director and cross-functional teams, including external vendors, to ensure the solution meets business needs and complies with HR and payroll requirements. Configuration & Process Optimisation: Configure the system to align with HR and payroll processes, utilising automation and data insights to optimise workflows and boost efficiency. Test Plan Management: Partner with the solution provider to prepare and execute detailed test plans and cases, ensuring the solution meets quality and performance standards. Project Milestones & Risk Management: Drive adherence to project timelines, tasks, and quality standards. Proactively monitor and mitigate risks while adjusting project scope and plans as needed. Stakeholder Communication: Provide regular updates to stakeholders, fostering collaboration across teams to ensure project success. Post-Implementation Transition: Ensure a smooth transition into operational phases and lead a project review to identify successes, challenges, and lessons learned. Key Requirements HR & Payroll Expertise: In-depth knowledge of HR and payroll processes, with proven experience in implementing payroll solutions. Technical Proficiency: Skilled in systems configuration, business process alignment, and data transformation. Experience leveraging business intelligence tools for actionable insights. Leadership & Communication: Strong leadership, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills, with experience in leading cross-functional teams. Project Management: Expertise in managing complex projects, handling scope changes, mitigating risks, and delivering on time and within budget. Change Management: Ability to foresee project scope changes and create contingency plans to address challenges. Data Management: Proficient in data manipulation, including data import, transformation, and integration into payroll systems.
