Safe Staffing & Bed Capacity Clinical Team Leader
We have an exciting opportunity for a Clinical Team Leader to join the Safe Staffing and Bed Capacity team based at Wonford House in Exeter.

Main duties of the job
* Support the management and expenditure of all temporary staffing throughout the Trust, including all bank and agency staffing, excluding Medical Staffing.
* Work with senior clinicians and managers to identify required resources, timescales, and review establishment.
* Support the bed management process across all adult and older persons inpatient units, including Out of Area beds when required.
* Ensure compliance with National requirements, internal governance, and improvement plans.
* Deputise in the absence of the Corporate Services Manager.
* Undertake the role of clinical in-reach for people placed in Devon beds not in their locality who do not have an allocated recovery coordinator.
* Ensure robust support is in place for all people placed out of area or out of locality, including their carers and families.
* Support and facilitate the movement and transfer of patients to the correct locality as appropriate.
* Facilitate the discharge of patients within other localities to their respective areas of residence.
* Provide relevant supervision and guidance to the Band 6 repatriation officers.

Experience
* Extensive experience of managing complex inpatient admissions/discharges.
* Experience of working at a management level.
* Experience of managing staff.
* Experience of Operational Management/ward management.
* Management of complex systems and processes.
* Skilled and competent in the use of IT packages and equipment.
Qualifications
* Qualified RMN Nurse/Allied Mental Health professional.
* Training to level 3 in Safeguarding Adults: roles and competencies for Health Care staff.
* NMC/Professional Body Registered.
* Project management knowledge to master's level or equivalent.
* Postgraduate qualification relevant to specialism.
* IT Skills.
Knowledge
* Management of change.
* Knowledge of inpatient wards.
* Knowledge of managing inpatient rotas.
* Local Admissions and Discharge Protocols and Escalation policies.
* Awareness of community structures and social care options and processes.
* Significant knowledge of managing work streams and delivering on target.
