Sales Manager new hotel in Stockton-on-Tees The job: This is an exciting proactive, Sales Manager role driving corporate transient and groups business into a stunning new focused service hotel in Stockton-on-Tees. The hotel is a franchised property and managed by a very sough-after hotel management group and a great company to work for. This Sales Manager role will sell the bedrooms into local businesses and the wider market. There will be some active collaboration with the regional and global sales teams to ensure they are delivering business from key accounts. About the role Responsible for the proactive sales of the hotel to external customers Manage relationships with key clients and agents. Regular face-to-face appointments per week to source new business. Work closely with the General Manager and wider brand sales team. Hold site visits and client entertainment as required. Produce sales activity reports as required. What we are looking for Hotel sales experience is essential. Current experience within the Stockton-on-Tees market is highly desirable. A proven track record of successful business development and account management is essential. A self-motivated, driven, commercially aware and results orientated, and proactive attitude is required. Candidates must demonstrate excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills. A full and clean driving licence and own car are preferred.
