This opportunity has come about in line with organic growth as this firm looks to expand their Regulatory offering in the following areas: Health & Safety, Food & Drink, Retail & Leisure, Education, Green Energy, Healthcare, Public Sector, Manufacturing, Sport, Agriculture.
If you're someone with expertise in non-contentious and contentious regulatory and advisory work in some or all of those sectors, this is a unique opportunity for you to take the reins of an existing department of lawyers and make it your own.
You'll have the benefit of a national network of lawyers to utilise to service work where needed, whilst also being given resources and investment to grow your own regional team based in the South West. There's also lots of support when it comes to business development and networking so that you are properly resourced when attracting and winning work.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead and grow the Regulatory practice at the firm
2. Provide expert legal advice on all aspects of -contentious and contentious regulatory and advisory work
3. Build and maintain strong client relationships, offering tailored solutions to meet their specific needs
4. Collaborate with other practice areas within the firm to provide comprehensive legal support to clients
5. Mentor and manage junior lawyers and support staff
6. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and regulations to provide proactive legal guidance
