Clinical Scientist - GI Physiology and/or Urodynamic Science

We are looking for a Clinical Scientist or Pre-Registrant to perform urodynamics and anorectal physiology testing in the Warrell Unit (Urogynaecology) at St Mary's Hospital, Manchester.
The post is a full time, fixed term contract for 12 months.
Main duties of the job
You will be undertaking these procedures efficiently and effectively within current guidelines, adhering to best practice and providing expertise to ensure the appropriate examination of patients.
The post will sit within the urogynaecology team, working closely with our urogynaecology consultants, CNS team, existing clinical scientist and operational colleagues.

Person Specification
General Education/Further & Professional
* MSc in Clinical Science (GI Physiology & Urodynamics Science)
* Teaching qualification
Experience
* Extensive experience in Masters level training (ie Clinical Scientist) with specialist skills gained in GI Physiology and Urodynamics evidenced in professional paper-based or e portfolio
* Publication or presentation of work at local or national meetings
Special Skills
* Experience of patient information systems; HIVE
* Excellent communication skills in a range of user and client groups
* Demonstration of a caring and evidence based practice approach to their role
* Evidence in portfolio of specialist training and investigations; Specialist diagnostics and therapy; assisting with specialist clinics; managing case load; knowledge of clinical trials and audit
* Experience of SNS programming counseling and follow up care
Other Factors
* Eligible or working towards registration with HCPC
* BSG, tPFS, BAUS, ICS

Salary: £46,148 to £52,809 per annum, pro rata
