Their talented team is at the heart of their success, and they are now looking to welcome a highly skilled Head of Finance to their leadership team.Purpose of the role:As the Head of Finance, you will play a pivotal role in steering the financial health and strategy of the organisation. Working alongside the board and senior leadership team, you’ll ensure the company’s financial operations are robust, efficient, and aligned with business goals.This role encompasses full responsibility for key financial functions, including monthly management accounts, VAT returns, forecasting, and compliance, while also supporting Accounts Payable and Receivable.Key Responsibilities:Prepare monthly Profit and Loss statements and management accounts.Analyse actuals versus forecasts and provide actionable insights.Lead the preparation of month-end reporting packs.Build and maintain detailed forecasting and planning models for all business channels.Ensure accurate and timely VAT and Intrastat returns, in collaboration with international teams.Oversee payment processes and balance sheet reconciliations, including prepayments and accruals.Act as the main point of contact for auditors and oversee the preparation of statutory accounts.Manage and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence.Required Experience:Essential:Experience in an FMCG or B2B environment, ideally in the food and beverage industry.Proven leadership skills in a senior finance role.Desirable:Background in a subsidiary of an international corporate organisation.Qualifications & Skills:Fully qualified CIMA, ACA, or ACCA.Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and familiarity with systems such as D365.Strong communication skills with the ability to present financial information clearly and concisely.A detail-oriented approach with the ability to manage complex financial tasks under pressure.Proven ability to lead and motivate teams, balancing workloads effectively.Compensation:This role has a competitive compensation package which includes many attractive benefits.
