An exciting opportunity has arisen for a knowledgeable and committed individual to become a Business Support Officer working in the Student Services department at All Saints Catholic College.
Applicants must have a sound knowledge of an administration role and be able to handle a variety of tasks quickly, efficiently, and calmly, while working to tight deadlines, having excellent organisational, administrative, and IT skills.
The successful candidate will be the first point of contact in the school’s Student Services office. Training will be provided to enable you to also provide first aid support as part of the role. You will provide main reception duties at times and be responsible for providing a comprehensive and highly efficient customer service, including dealing with enquiries from staff, students, parents, and external agencies in a courteous and professional manner.
All Saints is an 11-16 school situated near the northern boundary of Kirklees. We are a Catholic school with students attending from diverse cultural backgrounds, which contributes to the distinctive ethos. In November 2022, Ofsted judged All Saints “Good” in every category, and we were judged “Outstanding” in terms of our S48 inspection by the Diocese of Leeds in June 2018.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join our College making substantial progress under current leadership. In turn, we are looking for a candidate committed to playing a part in transforming the lives of our young people.
At All Saints Catholic College, we aim to create a happy workplace culture through promoting a healthy work/life balance. We do that by providing a package of flexible employee benefits, including:
1. An attractive pension scheme for both Teaching and Support staff.
2. A high-quality wellbeing package including medical cover, counselling, physiotherapy, fast track medical cover, care service, and a 24-hour GP helpline.
3. Care First Advice - a 24/7 information and counselling service.
4. We are part of the Cycle to Work scheme. Tax-free bikes and safety equipment can be payable by payroll deduction through a partnership with Cyclescheme.
5. Free parking.
Applications are invited from enthusiastic and highly motivated individuals who are able to work as part of the whole staff team and who will support and uphold the Catholic ethos and practices of the college.
Enquiries should be emailed to Miss C Taylor at hr@aschc.com.
