Job Opportunity: Assistant Facilities Manager Location: St Helens We are currently working with a global leader in the glass manufacturing industry, who are looking to add an assistant facilities manager to the team due to a recent retirement. The Role We’re seeking a skilled individual to join our Support Services team as an Assistant Facilities Manager at our engineering site. Reporting to the Facilities Manager, you will play a vital role in overseeing site management and ensuring the effective coordination of both permanent and temporary on-site contractors for project success. Key Responsibilities Plan and execute routine maintenance activities. Liaise and coordinate with internal teams and contractors. Ensure all work aligns with legislative standards. Update site drawings as needed. Oversee electrical inspections and maintain relevant records. Prioritize and manage work tasks efficiently. What We’re Looking For: Skills & Qualifications Knowledge of electrical wiring installations, including single and three-phase supply distribution. Proficiency in Microsoft applications. HNC or equivalent qualification in Electrical Engineering. Experience with AutoCAD. Benefits 25 days of annual leave plus public holidays. Defined contribution pension scheme.
